Medallion Speaker Award

The International Search Summit is committed to bringing speakers and content of the highest quality to its delegates and has introduced the Medallion Speaker Award in order to recognise the best contributions made by a speaker.

The winner is chosen on the day of the event by the audience and is awarded to the speaker who the delegates believe has brought the most value to them.

Tracy Falke

Winner at the International Search Summit London, 24th November 2011

Tracy is the founder of Streetsmart Social, where she offers social media consultancy and services to a wide range of brands. Her presentation in London demonstrated examples of social campaign successes and failures, offering insights into how brands can harness social channels, and deploy them as part of a crisis management strategy. She is the first female winner of the Medallion award.

Preston Carey

Winner at the International Search Summit New York, 12th September 2011

Preston leads Yandex's business development efforts in the United States and western Europe and is a regular speaker at the International Search Summit. His presentation offered insights into the search market in Russia, as well as tips and techniques for using Yandex effectively to run Russian SEO and PPC campaigns.

Bill Hunt

Winner at the International Search Summit Seattle, 9th June 2011

Bill is the first ISS speaker to win the Medallion Award twice.

In Seattle, he spoke on Operationalizing Global Search, sharing actionable tips and processes for improving efficiency and performance in international search projects.

Andreas is the YouTube and Display AM Lead at Google Germany.

In his session at ISS Munich, Andreas presented the benefits of using video advertising to engage with a global audience and provided case studies to demonstrate the multiple ways organisations can include video into their online strategies.

Winner at the International Search Summit San Jose, 11th March 2011

Bill is considered the top thought leader on Global Search Engine Marketing and Social Media. He is an internationally recognized Search Marketing expert who has spoken at conferences in over 30 countries. Bill has previously been the CEO of two of the largest Global Search marketing firms, Global Strategies and Outrider both of which were acquired by WPP. He now runs his on consulting business, Back Azimuth Consulting.

In his session at ISS San Jose, Bill advised delegates on leveraging global content and shared techniques for improving search performance through content optimisation.

Winner at the International Search Summit London, 28th October 2010

Inway is the VP of 4399.com, a Chinese gaming site for children. His website has over 100 million users, and receives over 30 million unique visitors per day. He also advises organisations on SEO and PPC strategies for the Chinese market.

His session at the International Search Summit gave valuable, actionable tips for delegates to employ in their own Chinese campaigns and highlighted the most important factors to consider when embarking on online marketing activity in China.

Eugene is the Head of Advertising at Russian search engine Yandex and has spoken at several Summit events.

He talked about the current state of search in one of the world's fastest growing internet markets and gave insights into the online behaviour of Russian web users.
